SEO for contractors. We write the words Google reads on your website. You paste them in.
Homeowners planning a kitchen, a bathroom or a basement search by the job and the town. Pikiword writes the page titles, descriptions and answers that show up for those searches, working from your own site and what you tell us about your work.

Basement Renovations in London, ON | Calderwick Renovations
Basement finishing and full renovations in London, from framing and insulation to flooring and a new bathroom, with a written quote after one visit.
This page used to have the same title as another page, and it had no description.
What we often find
When we reviewed the websites of six renovation companies across Canada in October 2026, three had no separate page for each service: kitchens, bathrooms and basements shared one page, or one section of the homepage. Four had no FAQ. A kit adds what's missing: answers to the questions homeowners ask before they call, and a full service page when your site needs one and your answers give us enough to write it.

Short answer
How long does a kitchen renovation take? Most of our kitchens take five to eight weeks from demolition to the last coat of paint. Custom cabinets add two to four weeks of lead time before we start.
Questions
- Do I need a permit?
- It depends on the work. Moving a wall or changing the plumbing needs a City of London building permit, and we apply for it as part of the job. Replacing cabinets and counters usually doesn't.
- Can we live at home during the renovation?
- Most families do. We set up a temporary sink and seal the work area with dust barriers, and we let you know ahead of time when the water or power will be off.
- Do you stand behind your work?
- We stand behind our workmanship for two years after completion, and materials carry their manufacturers' warranties, which we hand over to you at the end of the job. If something we built fails within those two years, we come back and fix it at no charge.

Questions from contractors
My site is one page. Is that a problem?
No, if your site has a sitemap, which most website builders publish automatically. The scan then shows that your site has few pages, and the kit can include a full service page when your answers give us enough to write it. Without a sitemap, we can't tell what's missing, so the kit won't include one; you'll see it in the count before you pay.
Do you write project galleries or blog posts?
No. We write your page titles and descriptions, a few short answers, and a service page when the scan shows you need one and your answers give us enough to write it.
If you'd rather have someone handle all of it, Agence Noos, our sister agency, can do that. (Their site is in French.)
