SEO for lawyers and small law firms. We write the words Google reads on your firm's website. You paste them in.
Someone who needs a will, a real estate closing or a family lawyer usually starts with a search, then reads the first few results. Pikiword writes the page titles, descriptions and answers they see, working from your own site and what you tell us about your practice.

What we often find
When we reviewed the websites of six small law firms across Canada in October 2026, none of the pages we looked at answered a question a client might ask. Two had pages with no description, and two put every practice area on a single page. A kit fills the first two gaps: answers to the questions clients ask before they call, and a description for up to 25 pages that lack one. When your site has only a few pages, it can also include a full page for one practice area, if your answers give us enough to write it.

Short answer
How much does a will cost? At our firm, a standard will costs $450 for one person, or $750 for a couple's mirror wills, powers of attorney included, plus HST and disbursements. We confirm the fee in writing before we start.
Questions
- How long does it take to make a will?
- It usually takes two meetings, about two weeks apart. At the first, we go over what you own and who you want to provide for. At the second, you review and sign the will with two witnesses at our office.
- Do I need a lawyer to settle an estate?
- Not always, but most executors want help with the probate application and the final tax returns. We can handle the whole estate, or only the steps you'd rather not do yourself.
- What should I bring to the first meeting?
- Bring a list of what you own and owe, the names of the people you want to include, and any existing will. If you're not sure whether something matters, bring it anyway and we'll go through it together.

Your regulator's advertising rules still apply. We don't use superlatives or make claims your answers don't support, and you review every fix before you paste it in.

Questions from lawyers
Will the answers you write count as legal advice?
Whether a text suits your law society's rules is your call: you review and approve every fix before you paste it in, so nothing goes online that you haven't checked.
We have several practice areas. How many pages do you cover?

If you'd rather have someone handle all of it, Agence Noos, our sister agency, can do that. (Their site is in French.)
