Privacy Policy
Version 1, updated October 22, 2026
Pikiword is operated by Groupe Noos Inc., 855 rue du Boisé, Granby, Quebec J2J 2X4.
This policy covers pikiword.com: visiting the site, joining the waiting list and using the contact form. Once orders open, everything about an order will be described in a notice published with our terms of sale.
Who's responsible
The person in charge of the protection of personal information at Groupe Noos Inc. You can reach them through our contact form or by mail at the address above.
What we collect, and why

| When | What we collect | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| You visit the site | Nothing. The site has no analytics tool; our host processes your IP address to serve you the pages. | Showing you the site |
| You join the waiting list | Your email address, the language of the page and when you signed up | Sending you one email when orders open |
| You write to us through the form | Your email address, your message, the language of the page, when you sent it and, if you give it, your name | Replying to you and handling your request |
We don't ask for any sensitive information, so please leave it out of your message. The site sets no cookies.
How your messages reach us
Both forms are handled by Google: your browser sends what you type to a Google service (Apps Script), which emails it to our Gmail account. That means Google also receives your IP address, as with any Google service; we don't. The page doesn't send your Google cookies with the form. If JavaScript is turned off in your browser, the form goes straight to Google, which may then receive your Google cookies. Your messages are read by someone on our team, sometimes with help from an AI tool (see below).
Who can see it, and where
On our side, only the person handling your sign-up or your message can see it. We use service providers bound by contract, who process your information on our behalf:

| Provider | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Google Workspace) | receives the forms, delivers and stores our email | United States for stored email content; any country where Google has facilities for the rest of the processing |
| Cloudflare | hosts the site and delivers its pages; processes your IP address to serve them | several countries |
These providers may also access your information from other countries for support, maintenance and security. Outside Quebec and Canada, your information may be accessible to the courts and authorities of those countries. We assessed these transfers before making them, as the law requires. We don't sell or rent your information, or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
Our AI tool: waiting-list sign-ups never go through an AI tool. For a message sent through the contact form, we may use Claude, a tool from Anthropic (United States), to read it or draft our reply; Claude then receives your email address, your name if you gave it, and your message. We use it under the terms Anthropic offers individuals, not under a service-provider contract. Anthropic handles this content under its own privacy policy; we have opted out of its use to train Anthropic's models. Anthropic keeps a conversation until we delete it, then for up to 30 days, and longer if its safety systems flag it or the law requires it. By writing to us through the form, you agree to this. If you'd rather your message didn't go through this tool, say so in your message and we'll handle it without it.
How long we keep it
- Waiting list: up to 60 days after our opening email, and no more than 12 months after you signed up if orders haven't opened by then.
- Contact form: 12 months after our last exchange. If you place an order, your message falls under that order's retention periods.
Every month, we delete anything past its retention period, including copies and items in trash folders. A conversation in our AI tool that contains your message is deleted once your request has been handled, and no later than the following month.
Your rights
You can access your information, have it corrected, get a copy in a structured, commonly used technological format, have it deleted, and withdraw your consent. Write to the person in charge through the contact form or by mail. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We reply within 30 days.
Leaving the waiting list: ask through the contact form or by replying to our email. We remove your address from the list as soon as we get your request, without asking you to confirm; the request itself is deleted when the list is. Our opening email also includes a way to unsubscribe.
Complaints about how we handle your information go to the same person: we acknowledge them, look into them and reply in writing within 30 days. If our answer doesn't satisfy you, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
The site and the forms use encrypted connections. Only the people who need to can access our mailboxes. We record any confidentiality incident in our register; if it presents a risk of serious harm, we promptly notify the people concerned and the competent authorities, as the law requires.
If this policy changes
We publish the new version here, dated at the top, and we ask for your consent before any new use that requires it.
